This removes your name and identifying details from your profile, listings, messages and reviews, and withdraws your active listings. Conversations, reviews and transaction records involving other users are kept, but with your identity removed, so their own records stay intact. If you'd prefer we do this for you, or want anything not covered by self-service handled, contact hello@sellinn.ie.

Sellinn.ie is an online classifieds marketplace that allows users in Ireland to list items for sale and purchase items from other users. Sellinn acts as a platform only — we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

🚫 Counterfeit & fake items policy
Sellinn does not endorse, support, or facilitate the sale of counterfeit or replica goods. This includes fake designer clothing, handbags, watches, electronics, or any item misrepresented as genuine branded goods. Listings suspected of being counterfeit — based on photos, reports from other users, or our own review — may be removed without notice and without explanation. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned. If you suspect a listing is selling fake goods, please use the Report button on the listing.
Sellinn reserves the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion and without notice or explanation.
As a seller you agree to:
Listings that breach these rules — including business advertising disguised as a sale — may be removed at any time, without prior warning or explanation. Repeated breaches will lead to your account being banned.
As a buyer you agree to:
💡 We strongly recommend An Post Tracked Post for all posted items. Tracked post provides both buyer and seller with a tracking number and proof of delivery. Without tracking, neither party has evidence of postage and disputes are harder to resolve. Sellinn accepts no responsibility for lost or undelivered items.
When a buyer selects An Post delivery in their offer, the agreed shipping cost is included in the total. The seller is responsible for posting the item promptly once payment is confirmed and for sharing the tracking number via the Sellinn chat.
Sellers on Sellinn can offer any combination of the following delivery options when creating a listing:
Shipping cost is included in the buyer's accepted offer and is agreed between buyer and seller before payment. Sellinn does not charge for shipping; the seller pays An Post directly.
Most shipping is within the Republic of Ireland. Sellers may optionally offer shipping to other EU countries at their discretion; this is entirely optional and never required.
Sellinn is not currently operating as a trading platform and does not charge for listing, selling, or any platform feature. Sellinn is not currently accepting donations either — the platform is entirely free to use with no payments of any kind collected at this time.
Sellinn is a platform provider only. We are not responsible for:
Sellinn currently charges no fees of any kind, so to the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Sellinn's liability to any user is limited to €0. If fees are ever reintroduced in future, this section will be updated to reflect a liability cap tied to fees actually paid.
Buying and selling through Sellinn necessarily involves interacting with other users, arranging collections or shipping, and making or receiving payments. You acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risk, and you use Sellinn entirely at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for exercising reasonable caution and judgment in all dealings with other users, on or off the platform. Sellinn does not vet, verify, or endorse any user, listing, or communication, and is not responsible for the actions, statements, omissions, or conduct of any user — including impersonation, fraud, or other unlawful behaviour by third parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sellinn, its founder, and any associated parties from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your transactions or disputes with other users; or (d) any fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful conduct by another user or third party in which you were involved, whether or not Sellinn had prior knowledge of it.
We strongly recommend:
The Sellinn name, logo, and platform design belong to Sellinn's founder. Users retain ownership of their listing content but grant Sellinn a licence to display it on the platform.
Sellinn may suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these terms, with or without notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. For consumer disputes, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Sellinn following notification of changes constitutes acceptance. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
Sellinn is a peer-to-peer marketplace. We do not sell items ourselves and we do not process returns or refunds on behalf of buyers or sellers. Each transaction is between the buyer and the seller directly.
If a buyer wishes to return an item, they should contact the seller directly via Sellinn's messaging system. Returns are at the seller's discretion unless required by Irish consumer law. Sellers who advertise items as "new" or who sell in the course of business may have additional return obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
If a buyer and seller cannot agree on a return, they should attempt to resolve the matter through Sellinn's chat. If resolution is not possible, both parties may:
Sellinn provides the platform on which buyers and sellers connect. We do not hold funds, do not process payments between users, and do not take possession of items. As such, we cannot guarantee refunds for any transaction. Buyers should inspect items carefully before completing payment and prefer An Post Tracked Post for postage so that delivery is verifiable.
⚠️ Buyers: if you are buying from a seller acting in the course of business, you have statutory consumer rights including the right to a refund for faulty goods. If you are buying from a private individual (most Sellinn transactions), goods are sold "as described" and the buyer-beware principle applies — inspect before paying.
